During the first (free) or subsequent meeting, I set the focus together with the patient, that is the problem area to work on.
In my approach, in agreement with the patient, I can integrate therapy with some Reiki treatments that favor a useful energy balance in every form of malaise. In particular, they support the various forms of anxiety or depression, reducing the sense of exhaustion, increasing mood and giving greater vitality and relaxation.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a real mental process with the aim of being fully aware of yourself and of the moment you are experiencing.
It helps us to be more aware of the emotions that exist in us.
It may seem strange but when we pay more attention to it, negative emotions tend to dissipate, while positive ones expand.
Focus attention on breathing, become aware that thoughts and feelings come and go. They are transient.
The ultimate goal is to choose whether to act on these thoughts or let them go, avoiding being judgmental.
In mindfulness meditation you learn to observe without criticism. You learn compassion for yourself.
Attention and awareness like a muscle, need training and expecting everything to change right away is wrong.
